About the Role

This is a remarkable opportunity to advance your career by taking ownership of key project components within mid-to-large scale architectural and interior design projects. You will collaborate closely with the Project Leader, bringing a positive, professional approach to client interactions and teamwork.

Your portfolio should reflect a strong design sensibility, and proficiency in Revit is essential for independent documentation in this role.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with Senior Architects and Interior Designers in the design and delivery of diverse projects.

  • Develop spatial planning, test fits, and schematic design schemes.

  • Create compelling design presentations and detailed project documentation.

  • Liaise effectively with engineering teams and specialist sub-consultants.

  • Produce comprehensive reports, including drawings, schedules, and specifications for each project phase.

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Monitor and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as needed.

  • Maintain awareness of all design and production matters to ensure project deliverables meet Rosence’s standards of professionalism and excellence.

Requirements

The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, creative, and resourceful environment and has specialized experience in the design and construction of both architectural and interior design projects.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • 8+ years of post-graduate experience in Interior Design or Architecture.

  • A bachelor's degree in interior design or interior architecture.

  • Proven leadership on small to mid-size projects or significant contributions to large-scale projects under supervision.

  • Strong abilities in concept design, design development, and documentation.

  • Skill in visually communicating design intent for reports and presentations.

  • Extensive experience in documentation, including coordinating schedules.

  • Technical expertise in fit-out details, with the ability to take designs through to detailed documentation.

  • Experience with diverse project types is a plus.

  • Confidence in engaging with suppliers and consultants.

  • Familiarity with Australian building regulations and standards.

  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, with experience documenting interiors packages.

  • Skills in Lumion and Photoshop, with additional rendering software (e.g., Enscape) being advantageous.

  • A keen eye for design, coupled with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • A commitment to contributing positively to a high-performing team.
